Swing by the Jazzhaus, 926 1/2 Mass. at 10 p.m. to put an end to your Monday the best way possible — shout-singing Katy Perry into a microphone to the jeers and horror of all who look on. Yes, tonight is Karaoke Idol and that means that the good, the bad and the ugly come out to give their most rousing renditions of contemporary favorites and off-beat classics. But remember, no matter how great or slight your talent, at karaoke showmanship is 9/10 of the law. While tonight's hot mess starts at 10 p.m., get there early if you need a little liquid courage. The Jazzhaus has a pretty fantastic drink special on Mondays starting with $2.25 Boulevard pints and well drinks.
