This KU group is open to the public every Tuesday for beginning lessons 8-8:45pm and open social dancing till 11. We dance a variety of dance styles: from East Coast and Lindy Hop to Hizzop Lindy and Balboa.
Not a student? Don't have a partner? Not an issue! We're open to everyone and you don't need a partner! Special shoes are not needed - just something you can spin in (flip flops don't work).
We will be in the Kansas Room (6th floor) unless the Union has a conflicting event, then we'll be a the ECM. Join us afterwards for coffee - location to be announced at the dance. If you'd like more info on swing dance, links or want to check that we're not snowed out, check out: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/kuswingsociety.
The first Tuesday of the month is Boys Night Out, when guys get in half price. Special lessons for intermediate to advanced dancers will be offered throughout the year.
