Rev. Dr. Susan Thistlethwaite, author and editor of Interfaith Just Peacemaking: Jewish, Christian, and Muslim Perspectives on the New Paradigm of Peace and War and Professor of Theology at Chicago Theological Seminary, will preach on the subject of nonviolence and peacemaking at Plymouth Congregational Church this Sunday, September 15 at the 9:30 and 11 am worship services. In this weekend’s talk, “Living the Sermon on the Mount: Jesus Against Rome, Then and Now" Dr. Thistlethwaite will challenge listeners to put into practice Jesus’ words of peacemaking.
