SkillBuilders is sponsored through Visiting Nurses, Lawrence Public Library and Douglas County Senior Services. SkillBuilders is an educational series for widows, widowers or anyone experiencing significant life changes. The September 12th SkillBuilders session will Surviving and Thriving. Paul Reed, Chaplain from Visiting Nurses Hospice, will discuss the issues that come up after a life loss, and ways to learn to live again. SkillBuilders is open to anyone in the community, and takes place every Thursday from September 12th to November 14th. This educational event takes place at Drury Place, 1510 St. Andrews Drive from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M.
