Fort Leavenworth Series At Home & Abroad: Selected Topics in World War II "How the Red Army Defeated Germany: The Three Alibis" with Dr. Jonathon M. House Thursday, May 2 at 3:00 p.m. This series occurs the first Thursday of the month through November 7. Scholars of the Dept. of Military History at the U.S. Army's Command and General Staff College provide an in-depth look at the significance of specific WWII topics, with an emphasis on world players, campaigns and tactics, policy, women's service and the bombing of Japan.
