The Alferd Packer Memorial String Band presents PI DAY!!! An annual celebration of math, science, pastry and nerd pride. A fast paced variety show with humorous and poignant, music, dance, standup, demonstration, film, and feats of derring-do. Highest number of memorized Pi digits wins. Pie Baking Contest. Pies will be judged in two categories, flavor and creativity. If you can bake a pie that is actually irrational and infinite, you'll win for sure. After judging, the contest pies will be served to the audience, during intermission. Advance tickets at the Lawrence Arts Center Box Office 785-843-2787
