Gettysburg 150 at the Dole Institute: The Three Days of Gettysburg

This summer will mark the 150th anniversary of the Civil War’s bloodiest and most famous battle. For three days in July, 1863, Gettysburg was the site of incredible bravery and sacrifice. It is often described as the turning point of the Civil War. The Dole Institute will commemorate this historic battle with a full day of programming with military historians and experts. In open discussion style, we’ll look at the day-by-day details of the battle and the decisions and acts that dictated the outcome. Each afternoon session and the evening program can be enjoyed as a whole or individually, so feel free to join us when you can! The Three Days of Gettysburg Thursday, June 20 Day 1: 1:00-2:30 p.m. Day 2: 2:45-4:15 p.m. Day 3: 4:30-6:00 p.m. This conference-style event will explore each historic day of the Gettysburg battle. Each session stands alone, so join us for one or come for all three!
