Fort Leavenworth Series At Home & Abroad: Selected Topics in World War II "Eisenhower, Operation TORCH & US Military Government Policy" with Dr. Louis A. Dimarco Thursday, June 6 at 3:00 p.m. This series occurs the first Thursday of the month through November 7. *Next month's Ft. Leavenworth program will be Thursday, July 11 due to the July 4 holiday. Scholars of the Dept. of Military History at the U.S. Army’s Command and General Staff College provide an in-depth look at the significance of specific WWII topics, with an emphasis on world players, campaigns and tactics, policy, women’s service and the bombing of Japan.
