Howdy folks. Sure it is rainy, but it isn’t too cold. Certainly not too cold to huddle up at Henry’s and have a hot cider!

Tonight we will use Psalm 7 as a focusing text. It is a little weird, let me tell you… For one thing, the Psalmist very clearly asks God to judge them and says things like “if I am not righteous then let my enemies pursue and overtake me…”

Personally, I think it takes a lot of guts to make a prayer like that, don’t you? What do you think? Would you climb to the top of a holy hill and ask God to judge you and, if you have done anything wrong, that it would come back on you seven fold???

I would not be too quick to make this prayer. But where then are the truly righteous and don’t we need them in these times?

This psalm brings up a lot of questions that I would like your help digging into tonight, I hope you can make it!
