Jeannine Falino, adjunct curator at the Museum of Modern Arts and Design in New York, will give speak on "Crafting Modernism: Midcentury American Art and Design" on Wednesday, February 27, 6:30 pm, at the Spencer Museum of Art Auditorium. Ms. Falino was formerly the Carolyn and Peter Lynch Curator of Decorative Arts and Sculpture, Art of the Americas, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She has lectured and written widely on American decorative arts from the colonial era to the present. She specializes in metalwork, jewelry, and twentieth century decorative arts and design. Ms. Falino's lecture is hosted by the Metalsmithing/Jewelry Design program and the Department of Visual Art.
