In the last century, the average American life expectancy has increased by 30 years. Good news...right? Are you sure you want to live that long? What do you do with all that extra time? This devised performance, born out of an honors capstone on the life course, seeks to answer those questions. Through adaptations of the short stories of Grace Paley, interviews with Lawrence seniors, and personal narrative, "One Wild and Precious Life" explores how art can help us reimagine the life course and make the best of our one wild and precious life.
