The Genius of Women event, which is a variety-talent show of both men and women is coordinated to celebrate and appreciate the dignity, beauty and gifts of women! The Genius of Women event will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 12th in Gridiron Room of the Burge Union on the University of Kansas’ Lawrence campus and is free and open to the public. The annual event brings together both women and men to artistically celebrate and appreciate the dignity, beauty and gifts of women through song, music, dancing, poetry, reading, comedy, artwork and more. Donations raised from the show go to help Family Promise of Lawrence, which supports the dignity and well-being of women and families. We welcome and encourage the community and University of Kansas campus to be a part of this.
