Is the great American novel burning inside you? Join us in November for thirty days and nights of literary abandon in celebration of the National Novel Writing Month phenomenon! From our Nov. 1 kickoff to the Nov. 28 finale and weekly Wednesday night write-ins in between, we'll provide you with prompts, snacks and writers' swag to keep your authorial flame burning all month long.
For tonight's write-in at the library gallery, you bring your writing implements of choice, and we'll bring the snacks, moral support, progress charts and plot ninjas. Discouraged: self-doubt, self-criticism and other acts of self-bullying. Encouraged: clunky dialogue, clichéd characters, deeply flawed plots and bragging rights.
