The Four Winds Native Center and Haskell Intertribal Club have collaborated together in sponsoring the Celebrate the Youth Powwow. The purpose of the powwow is to not only honor the Native American Youth, but to also provide a fun learning experience for the Native American Youth. At Tecumseh Hall, Haskell Nations Indian University from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Some of the events during that powwow that will be taking place are: Haskell Intertribal Club will be sponsoring a toy drive starting October 29,2012. Any toys collected between the start date and during the event, will be distributed to the youth that are in attendance at the powwow. The Haskell Pueblo Club will be presenting a dance exhibition for the youth and will also be presenting a "Peublo Throw" to the general audience. The powwow is open to the general public.
