The Breakfast Optimist Club is holding its 2012 Pancake Feed and silent auction from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 3. at the American Legion hall, 3408 W. Sixth St in Lawrence, KS. Proceeds will help support 33 youth programs, including the Boys and Girls Club, American Legion Baseball and dictionaries for all fourth-grade students in Lawrence and Eudora. Donations of $6 per adult and $3 per child between age 6 and 12 will be collected at the event. Children 5 and younger are free.
