Lawrence Medical Managers, a local group for healthcare administrators, employees and managers in Lawrence, will be hosting a lunch seminar Wednesday, May 9th titled “The New Leadership.” The seminar, which is open to the public, will be held at Maceli’s 1031 New Hampshire in Lawrence, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will include lunch. Featured speaker, Thomas Stanley, Program Associate for the Kansas Leadership Center, will speak about facing difficult leadership challenges and opportunities, how to build your leadership capacity and how to seek greater impact and satisfaction at work as well as within the community. The KLC is a statewide organization, based in Wichita, created by the Foundation in 2007. The KLC further develops and enhances the civic leadership programs the Kansans Health Foundation funded in the past, and continues to search for new methods and programs to help Kansas exercise the kind of leadership necessary to create a healthier, more prosperous Kansas. Cost for the lunch seminar is $12.00 for current members $15.00 for nonmembers. Deadline for Registration is Tuesday, May 1st, 2012.
