Too nice to stay at home, too windy to go on a walk, might as well come down for a couple of drinks and a conversation at ol’ Tap.
I want to talk about the Holy Spirit tonight. It sure is something left out of liberal protestant theology, but does that leave us missing something? Charts that describe what words people would use to describe divinity show that a long long time ago it was God, a long time ago it was Jesus and now…. It is The Spirit.
How do you feel about the spirit? Does it describe some essential aspect of your faith life? What is the spirit anyway? Who was about the spirit: Luther, Calvin, Barth? When does the spirit work and with what?
That is all I can think of for now but I am sure the conversation will go another direction as well. Hope to see you there-
