Come learn and participate in the Social Entrepreneurship revolution!
This Thursday, March 8th, Arnobio Morelix will talk about Social Entrepreneurship in Brazil and how we can make an impact in the world through it.
We will also highlight the workings of a specific program, PESSOA (Entrepreneurship and Socio-Environmental Sustainability Program), that has impacted the lives of more than 3,000 people. The program takes place in Brazil and one of the main modules consists of a 3-week training over the Summer that includes visiting environmentally friendly companies, lectures with experts in the field, and sailing for almost a week along the Amazon river to learn more about the jungle. For the first time we are opening application for non-Brazilian citizens. The program has two main focuses: experience the ecosystem and create social and environmentally friendly ways to develop businesses.
The talk will take place this Thursday March 08, 2012 12:00pm - 1:00pm Bailey Hall, 318 A lunch of rice and beans will be served
