Lawrence, Kan. – The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce will host the first “Eggs and Issues” breakfast of the year from 8-9:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 4, in the Crystal Ballroom of the Eldridge Hotel.

This is the first in a series of legislative events designed to connect the community with elected leadership. The second “Eggs & Issues” breakfast is scheduled for March 3.

Our seven local legislators all will participate, making brief presentations before speaking directly with attendees. Confirmed participants include:

State Senator Marci Francisco (D, District 2) State Senator and Senate Minority Whip Tom Holland (D, District 3) State Representative and House Minority Leader Paul Davis (D, District 46) State Representative Barbara Ballard (D, District 44) State Representative TerriLois Gregory (R, District 10) State Representative Tom Sloan (R, District 45) and State Representative Ann Mah (D, District 53)

“Eggs & Issues” is open to the public. Tickets are $15 for Chamber members and $20 for non-members and may be purchased on-line at until noon Friday, Feb. 3. For more information, contact Adam Handshy or 865-4427.
