From Los Angeles, California, the Midwestern Icons feature former Lawrence, Kansas musician and Kansas Music Hall of Fame inductee Bill Lynch along with his stellar rhythm section featuring Rick Moors on bass and the legendary drummer James Gadson. For years, Lynch performed across the Midwest with numerous bands including The Bill Lynch Band, and Lynch and McBee - a duo with harmonica ace Lee McBee. Lynch has gigged with various artists including Jerry Lee Lewis and Bo Diddley and has been joined by Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Mike Finnigan, Billy Preston, Ike Turner, James Cotton and countless others. Kansas Music Hall of Fame inductee James Gadson is originally from Kansas City, Missouri. Whether you know it or not, you've heard James many, many times. He has recorded with an endless list of artists including Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye, B.B. King, Freddie King, Albert King, Herbie Hancock, The Temptations, Quincy Jones, Norah Jones, Paul McCartney, Justin Timberlake and on and on. Also from Kansas City, Rick Moors has worked with many artists including Ike Turner, Bo Diddley and Oleta Adams. He can be seen up and down the west coast with The Bonedaddys, Urban Dread and the amazing Conjunto Jardin.
