After setting SX on fire, the Austin-based band is ready to bring their heat to Lawrence this month. Not in the Face will be performing at the Bottleneck on June 1st. These guys have been described by those in the know as; Grimy, gritty and raw - Low-Fi and boisterous - their songs reveal a mean streak and melodic sense that would make Paul Westerberg proud. www.notinthefacerocks.com
