February 11 | 4 pm • 7 pm • 9 pm February 12 | 2 pm • 5 pm • 7:30 pm The Lawrence Arts Center is proud to present this series of staged readings of new plays and musicals from local playwrights. Actors and musicians will bring the written word to life in this inside look at new play development. This program is produced by Dan Born and features works in progress by Larry Mitchell, Marlo Angell, Michael Timothy Dieker, Dan Born, Will Averill and Natalie Liccardello. Admission is free and open to the public. Donations accepted. Saturday, February 11th 4pm · THE TIN WOODMAN by Larry Mitchell This adaptation of the Frank Baum original tells the beloved Oz character's backstory. Saturday, February 11th 7pm · HIS & HERS by Marlo Angell. In two different rooms in the same house, the same issue is being avoided. A recent miscarriage refuses to be swept under the rug when friends and family stop by to help and hinder. Saturday, February 11th 9:30pm · JONAH QWERTY IS FEMME ASSASSIN GUY by Micheal Timothy Dieker A full-length musical horror about the rise of gay serial killer Jonah Qwerty, who rose to infamy for uploading musicalized murders to YouTube. Sunday, February 12th 2pm · LET MY MIND FLASH WITH BLADES by Dan Born A full-length drama about the psychoanalysis of the American poet Hilda Doolittle by Sigmund Freud. Sunday, February 12th 5pm · THE PONZI SCHEME by Will Averill A musical based on the life of Ponzi interwoven with the story of a contemporary hustler. Music by Firewater. Sunday, February 12th, 7:30pm · PIES FROM THE PORN KITCHEN a new play by Natalie Liccardello Two cleaning ladies walk into an upscale Manhattan apartment and encounter an unlikely mix of baked goods, pornography, and a naked dude named Zeke. Shenanigans ensue, hearts are won, and a star is born. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hell yes Femme Assassin Guy! It's about time this was seen! Any show that offs Phelps, to music nonetheless, is a show I want to see!
