On Saturday August, 11 the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Endowment Association will be holding the 4th annual Small Town, Big Cause 5K run/walk in Eudora. Registration begins at 7:00 am, and the race starts at 8:00. Half of the net proceeds raised will be donated back to the community through a health wellness grant. The 2011 grant recipient was Eudora's Recreation Commission and it was used to help provide healthy snacks to children before and after school. If you register before July 27th, you recieve the early bird price of $20, but any time after the 27th the registration fee is $25.
