Presbyterian Manor, 1429 Kasold, a not-for-profit continuing care community, will be hosting two events the week of September 12 as part of its 18th annual Fall Benefit.

The two events will assist the Manor’s Good Samaritan Fund, which helps residents continue to live at the Manor after they have exhausted their own financial resources.

The first event on Tuesday, Sept. 13 is a pasta and pie supper along with a silent auction. Bidding on the silent auction items begins at 3:00 pm and concludes at 6:30. Featuring a Buy It Now option, you can pay a premium price starting at 3:00 pm and take your item with you not having to wait till the closing at 6:30. The supper portion of the event runs from 5 to 6:30 and tickets for $10/person may be purchased at the door. Items for the silent auction include: KU basketball tickets; KU football tickets with tailgate; KU memorabilia; a Kindle; Coleman 8-person tent; tickets for Legends of the Phog; gift certificates to local restaurants and businesses; jewelry and more.
