The KU School of Music is pleased to present A Liszt Odyssey, September 11-13, 2011. This festival is set to become one of the most memorable and visible Liszt festivals in the world as it will feature Alan Walker, the world’s greatest authority on Liszt, and composer Mohammed Fairouz and his world premiere of The Last Resistance, a work created specifically for the festival. Monday, September 12, 2011, 12:30 PM Collaborative Recital featuring Pianist Robert Koenig, Baritone Chris Thompson, Soprano Callie Schlegel, Violist Peter Chun, and Clarinetist Robert Walzel Spencer Museum of Art, Lawrence, KS

Monday, September 12, 2011, 7:30 PM Alan Walker--Lecture, Liszt and the Keyboard: the Wizard Casts His Spells The Lied Center, Lawrence, KS
