I know I know I know, it’s kind of a biggie.
Immediately this question brings up a lot of other questions for me, questions like?
What kind of God? What is belief? Can you choose to believe something if you wanted too? Should belief really be the basis of faith? If I believe in a God, but it is not omnipresent, omniscient & omnipotent, does that count as God? What are scientists saying these days about God?
What about not believing in God per-se, but choosing something and making it your God?
Then of course, we have it as the basis of pop-Christianity and maybe more that belief is the ultimate concern: John 3;16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Come to tap, drink your way to enlightenment, have a laugh, make an argument, make a friend. This Thursday and every Thursday and Henry’s bar upstairs from 5:30-7.
