Canadian noise-rockers AIDS Wolf really push the concept of song and music to their respective breaking points, by constructing music that is in their own words, "challenging." And considering AIDS Wolf songs rarely feature any of the elements — melody, tempo or harmony — associated with conventional songwriting, that's a bit of an understatement. Still, there's something deeply cathartic and oddly childlike about the Montreal band, they make an outstanding racket and it's hard not to vicariously live through that, assuming you're not expecting anything bordering on traditional. They are joined by Hazel and Henri Slaughter of Wolf Eyes and Kansas City, Mo. band Folkicide. Tonight's show takes place at the Replay Lounge, 946 Mass., and is $3. As always, the show is 21 and older.
