Tonight at the Bottleneck, 737 N.H., marks the first entry in the Horror Remix series. Popularized in Dallas by artist/editor E.J. Anttila, Horror Remix features three horror movies based around a specific theme, that are then edited down to their bare essentials — sex and violence. The movies are then shown in succession, creating a sort of vignette for the deeply disturbed. Oh, and the whole ordeal is hosted by a pair of sock puppets, Thunderclap and Cheesecake. The name of tonight's show is "Rush" and all three slasher movies take place in sororities. The event is free, but not for the weak-hearted, but if you're a connoisseur of camp or a genuine fan of the genre, you'll be right at home.
