For the guys behind the Pizza Power pizza party/backyard rock shows, this day has to feel like a long time coming. Head to the Eighth Street Taproom, 19 E. Eighth St., tonight to celebrate the launch of a local label Whatever Forever, who, aside from the previously mentioned parties, is best known for releasing their band's albums on cassette tapes. Yes, cassette tapes. The show starts at 10 p.m. with performances from Oils, Agent X-12, This Is My Condition and Dean Monkey & The Dropouts. DJ Franklin Fantini is also on-hand. The real party starts at Midnight, so consider everything up to that point pre-game.
