- The Jackpot Music Hall, 943 Mass., Lawrence

Olympia, Wa. band Broken Water headline a great bill to start your work week right. The independent trio is a combination of two members of Sisters and one member of Congratulations. They make murky, buzz-filled songs that are anchored by ethereal vocals courtesy of the band's two female members. They are joined by Iowa City, Iowa band Wet Hair who make bouncy, rhythmic indie pop songs that build layers of fuzz, keys and altered vocal to create something truly fascinating. Local acts Muscle Worship and Mouthbreathers start the show off right with some much-needed grounding. Get to the Jackpot, 943 Mass., early to be sure and catch performances from both of them, as things are only going to get weirder (in a good way), as the night continues. The 18-and-older show starts at 9 p.m.
