Cosmopolitics Enjoy the last Saturday of March with Lawrence's Cosmopolitics tonight at the Bottleneck, 737 N.H. They'll be out playing a set of spaced-out instrumentals from 10 p.m. to close, which should provide a fittingly ambient end to a long week filled with indecisive weather, Final Friday and KU Basketball. While technically a jam band, Cosmopolitics stand apart from the usual mishmash of tired, uninspired prog musicians by crafting jams and instrumental flights of fancy that actually go somewhere –– developing into songs that are actually dynamic and engaging.
