Country artist James McMurtry brings his well worn lyricism to the Bottleneck, 737 N.H., tonight and there isn't a venue better suited to McMurtry and his band's strengths. He and his more than capable backers make the kind of down and dirty country that belongs in dark bars and clubs where the audience comes right up to the stage. And when McMurtry and company slow things down with acoustic songs like "Mellinda" the added intimacy only serves to heighten the emotional connection to the song. Tonight's show is well worth your time if you like well written music played by adept musicians. Tickets are $15. Th all ages show starts at 8 p.m.
