Tonight at The Bottleneck, 737 N.H., Cowgirl's Train Set plays a homespun show that features Deathheart and Drunkard's Dream (bonus points if you know The Band song the band's name references). While Cowgirl's Train Set is making a name for itself around here for their sense of humor and winning combination of bluegrass with pop sensibilities, the whole show is a winner because of its diversity. Drunkard's Dream is punch-ed up, punk-influence rock music that belongs on every college radio station ever. While Deathheart is a soft, almost chamber music outfit who's lead singer packs an angelic voice. The whole show goes down at 10 p.m. and is all ages.
