- The Bottleneck, 737 N.H., Lawrence
- Cost: $13
- Age limit: All ages
Tonight, The Detroit Cobras bring their retro-rock to the Bottleneck, 737 N.H. Frontwoman Rachel Nagy splits the (rather wide) difference between Darlene Love and Karen O. shifting between angelic verses and a raspy snarl on songs like "Cha Cha Twist." Much like other retro-garage acts such as Black Lips or King Khan & The Shrines, The Detroit Cobras lack the showmanship or polish of other acts, choosing instead to focus on raw energy a crowd can instantly get behind. The show starts at 8 p.m. and is all ages. Tickets are $13.
