Athens, Ga. band Harvey Milk plays the kind of sludgy, fuzz-drowned rock music that hits like a ton of bricks, but don't mistake the band's pace as slow. It's deliberate, intentional and often used to build toward something cathartic. The band headlines tonight at the Jackpot, 943 Mass., and is joined by Lawrence's Mansion, This Is My Condition and Ponyboy — three bands that will provide more than enough energy to make up for Harvey Milk's deliberation. The show starts at 10 p.m. and is for people 18 and older.
