The Stange Boys began its life in Austin, Texas as a duo, but have grown into a talented retro rock outfit with some country influences. Think: a more stripped-down version of King Khan and The Shrines and you won't be too far off. And maybe swap out Khan's Motown influences for vintage cuts from Chess records for good measure. They are joined by Chicago's psychedelic White Mystery and Lawrence's own Spook Lights and L5. All and all, it'll be a good night at the Jackpot if you like garage rock, psychedelia or a good drink special.
