MARILYN MAYE Singer, proud Kansas native, and one of America’s most beloved exponents of the Great American Songbook, speaking on being a Kansan working in today’s top venues around the world,


KEVIN WILLMOTT Filmmaker and KU professor, speaking on his “community based filmmaking,” an alternative to Hollywood, and the acclaimed films that result. Plus a preview of his work in progress.

These two artists will present on "Making Art in and from Kansas" during the class "Kansas Art and Popular Culture." The class is open to the public for this special event.
