Kick off the weekend exploring featured exhibits in select campus locations at the first ever KU Campus Art Walk! Take a leisurely stroll, sample free food and drink and explore creative works by KU students, local and international artists, spanning media ranging from 2D, 3D and digital art to dance and musical performance. Participating locations include Anschutz Library, Art & Design Building, Dole Center, Kansas Union, Spencer Museum of Art, Stauffer-Flint Hall and Watson Library. Campus Art Walk maps with complete details are available at participating locations, or for download at www.ku.edu/artwalk. Eager for some stimulating dialogue? Stop by Professor Ted Johnson's 4:30 p.m. discussion, "The Natural History Museum as intellectual cornerstone of KU." Join the procession! At 6:00 p.m., the art walk culminates by transitioning from campus to downtown. Join a collaborative caravan of "mobile art galleries" as they're rolled, pushed, pulled, ridden, worn or carried from Spencer Museum of Art over to 9th and Massachusetts St. for the Final Fridays art walk.
