Mike Dillon has already brought his unique blend of snuff jazz to Kansas City, playing KCMO's The Brick last weekend and has a few more gigs planned while he's out here. During his career he's collaborated with Les Claypool, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Critters Buggin and Ani DiFranco and his current project Mike Dillon's Go-Go Jungle is only one of three groups he's active in at the moment. The others being Garage a Trois and the Dead Kenny G's. Tonight he brings electric, ever-changing jazz to the Eighth Street Taproom, 801 N.H., a venue who's dark atmosphere and confined performance space should make for a truly intimate music experience. Tickets are $5 and the show is for people 21 and older. The show starts at 10 p.m.
