Bruce Covey lives in Atlanta, GA, where he teaches at Emory University, edits Coconut Poetry, and curates the "What's New in Poetry" reading series. He is the author of five books of poems, including, most recently, Glass Is Really a Liquid (No Tell Books, 2010), Elapsing Speedway Organism (No Tell Books, 2006), and the forthcoming Reveal (Black Radish, 2011). His work has also appeared in LIT, Jacket, Columbia Poetry Review, S...onora Review, the Best American Poetry Website, and many other journals and anthologies, including Online Writing: The Best of the First Ten Years. Parts of Reveal have been translated and published in Italian. He was selected for the 2006 edition of Best of the Net. Lee Ann Roripaugh’s third volume of poetry, On the Cusp of a Dangerous Year, was published by Southern Illinois University Press in 2009. A second volume of poetry, Year of the Snake, also published by Southern Illinois University Press, was named winner of the Association of Asian American Studies Book Award in Poetry/Prose for 2004. Her first book, Beyond Heart Mountain (Penguin Books, 1999), was a 1998 winner of the National Poetry Series, and was selected as a finalist for the 2000 Asian American Literary Awards. Roripaugh is a Professor of English at the University of South Dakota, where she serves as Director of Creative Writing, and Editor of South Dakota Review.
