The grandmaster of all Lawrence scavenger hunts has returned after a four-year hiatus. The Lawrence Hunt: Rubout will kick off at noon Saturday from Conroy’s Pub, 3115 W. Sixth St. The game is part geography clues, Lawrence trivia, general knowledge and code-breaking skills. Huntmaters Andy Morton, host of “1 on 1 Trivia” and Sunday night trivia Smackdown at the Bottleneck, 737 N.H.; Kitty Steffens from “The Victor Continental Show” and Lawrence resident Matt Armstrong have come up with a new set of clues to bedevil returning and new players alike. Cost is $10 per person, and team size is limited to one carful of passengers. The game ends when at least three teams have finished, with an award ceremony to follow with cash and donated prizes. For more information or to register, e-mail thelawrencehunt@yahoo.com or visit Lawrence Hunt on Facebook (where a few early clues and guidelines appear to be posted).
