This Denton, Texas, band has been kicking around since 2000 with its keyboard-heavy brand of baroque soft rock, enduring countless references to Fleetwood Mac, America and Neil Young. While probably accurate, such comparisons fail to do justice to songwriter Tim Smith's singular voice and painstakingly descriptive lyrics, exquisite three-part harmonies and exacting compositions that never overstay their welcome.
