Event details

The Poison Control Center’s songs continue being spastic psych-pop vignettes that fill minds with images and ideas, as its live shows usually end with a massive pig-pile of musicians and spectators. Although the band claims to be from the (still) Big 12 city of Ames, Iowa, the group’s latest album, “Sad Sour Future,” was assembled by members living in four different cities recording and collaborating via online-friendly software.
