Student Union Activities at the University of Kansas will host Blake Mycoskie of TOMS Shoes to speak at the annual Student Lecture Series. Blake Mycoskie is the founder and chief shoe giver at TOMS Shoes, where the "one for one" business model he practices is changing consumerism. The event is co-sponsored with the KU School of Journalism, KU School of Business, TOMS Shoes KU, Sharks Surf Shop, Coca-Cola and the Lied Center of Kansas. The event is general admission and free for everyone, but it will require a ticket for everyone. Tickets are available starting Jan. 11 at the SUA Box Office located on Level 4 of the Kansas Union, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit the SUA Web site at www.suaevents.com or call 785-864-7469.
