KU Law Professor Emeritus Francis Heller will give a talk and sign copies of his new book, "Steel Helmet and Mortarboard: An Academic in Uncle Sam's Army." The book documents his alternating experiences as soldier and academic, including stints in the Austrian and U.S. armies, an interrupted path toward an American J.D., M.A. and Ph.D., and a more than 50-year teaching career at the University of Kansas.
