Event details
- Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Jo Shmo's, 724 Massachusetts, Lawrence
- Cost: $12 - $15
- Age limit: All ages
Check out our full preview of the event. From the folks who host monthly "Tweet Ups" comes a bigger Twitter-based event — of course, it's called a "Twestival." This one comes with door prizes and all proceeds benefit the Humane Society. You can find out more about it on at twitter.com/LtwupTwestival. If you're suspicious of these Twitter types, our Tweet-based interview with a few of them should tone down your twepidation. Also, it's for a good cause, with proceeds supporting the Lawrence Humane Society. Sweet charitweet, perhaps? In addition to twunes by DJ Soap, there will be twoor prizes and a silent twauction to benefit the Lawrence Humane Society. There will no doubt be lots of drunken tweeting, twoo.
