This installment of GET FOOLISH features Pseudo Slang, a hip hop group from Buffalo, NY. Riding the buzz of their major label release "We'll Keep Looking" on Fat Beats Records, the duo are stopping in Lawrence during their nation-wide tour. Taking inspiration from rappers like Rakim and Common as well as jazz cats like Thelonious Monk and Lee Morgan, the group recently wrapped up its debut album "We'll Keep Looking" with contributions from Vinia Mojica, Grap Luva, DJ Cutler, DJ Tommee, Third and more. Locals Forest of Luxury and Spence will be in the house for support. GET FOOLISH goes down on the first Wednesday of every month at the Eighth Street Taproom.
