Join Michael McKenna, as he explores the political power behind issue campaigns for his weekly study group, “We’ve Got Issues.” The seven-week group explores all aspects of issue campaigns, including the history of issue campaigns, research behind them, and the power of grassroots support and media coverage. McKenna is president of MWR strategies, a governmental affairs consulting firm. October 6 Tom Pyle of the Institute for Energy Research joins McKenna to discuss think tanks, energy and climate change October 20 Lobbyists Janet Sena & Barbara Bankoff join McKenna to discuss “lobbying” October 27 Charlie Hurt joins McKenna to discuss the power of new media November 3 Jim Hunter, IBEW, joins McKenna for a discussion on the power of Unions
