Floyd the Barber is a long-running jazz project of Eric Mardis (Split Lip Rayfield, Jesus Christ Superstar, Satan's Jeweled Crown). Though the lineup has changed through the years, former Roots Crew saxophonist Dan Pem is now a full-time member as is drummer Ryan Johnson and bassist Will Dinkel (Apollo 13). The group describes its wide-ranging sound as "on-the-edge jazz with rock, blues, bluegrass, Latin and other flavors."
