Kansas City hip-hop duo Deep Thinkers has been kicking around for the better part of six years, earning the respect of the local hip-hop scene and churning out multiple albums of progressive, heady hip-hop—including the recent "Reprogram." Producer Leonard Dstroy is widely regarded as one of the area's best, producing unique beats that don't lack club-banging potential. Lyricist Brother of Moses passes on braggadocio in favor of deep thoughts, using music as a jumping off point for inspiration and change in his community. Currently aligned with the INnatesounds Crew, the duo comes to Lawrence tonight with young bucks Def Ear and Los Blos hitching a ride.
